After sporadic usage in the past few months I am totally inclined to agree that this is one of the best soaps I have ever used, bar none. Although it is not tallow and is full of various "butters" it flat out works. There is absolutely zero blade "drag" with this soap using a top tier blade. None. Nada. Nichts. It's as if you are running your razor against glass lubed with Teflon. The after shave face feel is unsurpassed for those of you who look for this in a soap. The scents are strong on some and not so on others. If I had to buy a tub it would be the Lavender & Peppermint. I admit I was skeptical as I am a confirmed tallow adherent, but shaving is believing and this baby delivers in spades. It requires very little water and the lather is simply luxurious. This rivals the top tier tallow soaps in flat out performance and frankly on the whole is better than the vast majority of them. Try it.  Wink

I couldn't agree more. I have the Citrus and Bay and it performs for me the same way. I love their soaps.

Yep I got the almond with a B/S/T purchase. It is a REALLY good soap.

Count me as one who really enjoys Sudsy Soapery as well. Admittedly, the only one I have is the DdT Chatillon Lux collaboration, but the soap base is outstanding and the scent is as well. My only gripe would be the size of the soap container they use. This was easily remedied by transferring the soap to a larger diameter jar.

The SS soap is awesome! Especially their collaborative DdT. I also have Pink Mint and Lavender Mint and would say that performance and post shave characteristics are top tier.

Sudsy Soapery is a decent soap. Their Cola scent is wonderful, plus I believe they only use EO and not fragrance oils, which would make some of the scents more difficult to produce.

Plus the owner is a nice guy that has a passion for making great products.

Get a load of their newest soap release: Rose & Black Pepper!!!

Quote:...It has been in the making for the past six months and will be released this Monday, February 5, 2018.

The essentials oils that we have decided on are some of the most costly and exotic.     The spicy Black Pepper Extra is quite powerful.   We have crafted the soap and accessories with not only a natural blend of exotic essential oils but as well have added some very awesome natural ingredients like Rose Kaolin Clay and Rose Hip Oil (balm)....

Have several of their tubs - favorites are Twice Mint, Jack Frost (limited edition) or Pink Peppermint Patti with Rose Clay Whipped Shaving Soap (another limited edition)
I have found their limited editions are all very good and have to purchase 2 or 3 tubs as I have teenagers and they all seem to find their way to another den...

Good soaps, leave a very nice face feel. I haven't been in love with the scents that I've tried so I need to try to get my hands on a couple others that look more appealing.

As a side note, am I the only one that thinks their lavender & peppermint soap is pretty much just straight peppermint? Its like there's a tiny bit of lavender in there wanting to peak through by to my nose the peppermint just takes over (was hoping for more lavender in the mix).
