I dont usually comment on BPman threads, mostly because we disagree too much, but I have to second his statements. Having purchased soap directly from the hands of the man that made it, I kick myself for not using it earlier. For a vegan soap, this stuff punches well above its weight. If you didnt know it was vegan, you could never tell. There are soaps almost as good as SS, selling for twice as much on the market right now that are highly touted and will be gone tomorrow.

Pick a scent you know you enjoy, and buy a tub. After you are amazed, and upset for not using sooner, maybe then branch out with other scents.

I am making more room on my shelf for SS. Its such a fabulous shave at a reasonable cost, you wont regret it.

I have several of SS soaps, Pumpkin N Spice and Rain (the latest offering)
review of Rain:
I have SS's Rain and used it once, so far. The soap is a softer soap and blue in color. In the tub it actually has the scent of wet grass. Same as you lather. Loads and lathers easily producing a nice rich lather. Slickness and glide are great. Overall a great soap that does not need a lot of water. A very unique scent. I love it! I used my Gillette 1948 Aristocrat with a GSB blade. Brush was an Omega Silvertip (model 6214), and lathered in a GT G12 Scuttle. Definitely worth getting. hope this helps the buying decision.

I have been comparing the SS soap to Tabac soap recently and I have to be frank in saying that the SS is simply a better soap. It's easier to lather, slicker and the glide is unmatched. As regards post shave face feel there simply is no comparison, SS is far better. That's not to say that Tabac is not very good, just that it has been "bested". I see no need to buy more Tabac when this one is gone. Wink
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
