Razor: Razorock Lupo . 72 w/ TiBam Handle
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts - “The Amber Room”
Soap: A&E Cannabliss Santal
Aftershave: La Toja
Blade: Personna Platinum

This soap was kindly given to me and I’m so happy to report this tub does not burn my face like the Maggard’s sample I tried months ago. This one must have a few less drops of fragrance oil or something!

The scent is amazing. I mostly get a soft sandalwood and patchouli with herb and woody notes in the background. I also detected a dark floral in the mix… but just barely.

It’s honestly one of the best smelling soaps I’ve had the pleasure of owning. The performance is also exceptional. Now I must get the splash to go with it!
Wow, that brush is such a looker. Wow! Love the colors and patterns. Nice work Paul.

Razor: Yates (H-plate)
Brush: Elite 30mm Manchurian White Knot
Soap: Los Jabones De Joserra - Green Twist
Aftershave: Cella Aloe Vera
Blade: Personna Platinum

The Green Twist sample was graciously provided by Highspeed Mike and I was anxious to try it. Los Jabones De Joserra is my favorite new/craft soap maker. Green Twist is clearly a Green Irish Tweed cologne scent. To my nose it smells exactly like WSP Gaelic Tweed. It’s a very pleasing scent to me and a scent I haven’t used in a long time. Lather was very good as expected. Thanks again Mike! So far, “Kush” is probably my favorite scent from the Los Jabones De Joserra line-up.

So, I’ve really needed a stand for the Yates razor. It has a very large butt-end on the handle and none of my existing razor stands would fit it. So last night I found a scrap from a handle turning and made a stand that seems to be pretty solid for the Yates. Maybe I’ll start doing more of these…

I'd take you up on that! I have both the long, skinny handle and the squat, heavy one. Colors? Weighted bottoms? Can I have the color of my choice tomorrow?!
Tongue

But what a great idea, and it's recycling, to boot!

I think you mentioned somewhere about a possible video of brush turning. I hope I speak for others in saying, "That would be very cool!" And informative. Sort of our very own Dirty Jobs (we have a few work videos from Ken Fluffy. Maybe he'd do a honing video? I'd volunteer my day, but it is boring to watch me stand and do "white collar assembly line work" and HIPAA  Tongue)

andrewjs18 ?

I don't see a video button on mine. A quick search says it'll soon be available for Android. You must be on PC or iPhone?

I’m not on Facebook, but am on Instagram, and I know there is a live option there.

I can also look into youtube if that’s easier for everyone
