FWIW, Pasteur's lists the notes as "Lavender flower nuanced with aromatic notes of rosemary and thyme, the citrus freshness of lemon and bergamot and a background of fragrant tobacco, sweet vanilla and spicy tonka bean." I have one other LJdL soap, Green Twist. Pasteur's lists the Green Twist notes as "Fresh Fougere with lime notes and lavender, softened by shades of lush green leaves on an intense base of amber, sandalwood, musk and clean and fresh ozone notes." IMO the deal breaker for LJdJ is not the scents, but the price - $34.95 for 125g. I splurged and bought these two, but I do not plan to buy more LJdJ.
Ticket punched. End of story.
Hey Mike, looking at the different scent offerings online, I bet "Green Twist" would be more my style. I like most lavender soaps but I think Brihuega is just overpowered by the Rosemary and Thyme. Wish it was just straight lavender.
Amazing performer on all levels for me though... and yes, at $35 I agree it's quite spendy!
