Thanks Mike. Yes, it’s Camera+

Ha!  How apt - "Camera+" - the exact opposite of my very non-photographic memory.  Thanks Paul.  I get by with a little help from my friends.

Razor: Timeless 95 w/ Mongoose Handle
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts - Black Locust w/ 28mm Synbad Fan Knot
Soap: Moon - Union
Aftershave: Williams Aqua Velma (Spanish)
Blade: Personna Med Prep

Added a Mongoose handle to the Timeless. The Titanium handles I had previously used were just way too light and balance was always off. The Mongoose brings substantial weight and great balance to the Timeless.

I was also pretty excited to use the Black Locus brush handle I made yesterday. I've been trying to make my handles a little taller, a little chunkier, heavier and even went as far as to try making the base flatter. See, I do listen to feedback Smile

The Spanish Aqua Velva was something I kept seeing on the forums and have always wanted to try. I would agree the scent is more refined than the "ice" version we get here in the US. Comes in a nice glass bottle and is pretty cheap at Maggards ($14 for 200ml).

Moon's "Union" is my favorite new soap. It perfectly captures what I think of and want in a "Barbershop" scent'. Performance is also elite-level for me in every aspect. The Spanish Aqua Velva was a very good match-up for the Union soap!

It was a great shave overall. Happy Friday!

This evening’s Handcraft is titled “Scoville”.

Thank you Eric for another amazing pour. This one was my favorite that you sent me. She turned like a dream.

I also treated myself to a new carbide cutting tool today. It’s kinda nice having the Grizzly Tool Headquarters exactly 1 mile from your house. But ya, my mind is blown. I needed this exact tool a long time ago!

That came out beautifully! Great job on all three handles, and congrats on the new carbide. I've considered pulling the trigger on one of those a few times, but could never bring myself to do it. I might have to reconsider.

Gorgeous!

You are definitely at the proverbial "next level" with that cutter.  May I ask how you picked "Scoville"?

Thanks Mike.

I’m a big fan of spicy food (especially Thai food) and hot peppers / hot sauces.

The “Scoville” scale is the measurement for spice level.

The vibrant red, orange and green colors in Eric’s pour instantly reminded me of hot peppers!

I’ve been watching (aka internet spying) on some of the guys that turn handles for a living... they all seem to use these carbide wheels.

It wasn’t cheap, but I can tell it’s going to make things a lot easier!

Thanks again Eric. I greatly appreciate all your knowledge and the items you sent me!
