I’m not completely done with it yet, but figured I would share

Sweet, have you ever turned a matching (or contrasting) concave brush stand to hold the brush bristles up?

Hi. I have never made a stand... may need to try that one of these days Smile

I have one of his brushes in a beautiful wood finish, in this same handle design. It absolutely IS a joy to hold, so comfortable in the hand. Paul makes really good stuff.

The two tone gives it some wonderful character, too.

Thanks for the kind words Paul. We need to get you an acrylic/resin handle one of these days. Let me know if any strike your fancy. Of course the repeat customer discount program would apply Smile

Lol! Always like the discount programs, but I'm just happy to be able to be a customer. Your works is great!

(PS: As you're partial to 26mm, I just assumed everything I see is such. If you make something 24mm, let me know. Regardless, I'll still be here cheering from the stands!)

Razor: ATT SE1 w/ RR Halo DLC Handle
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts “Rainier Ash” - 26mm Silksmoke knot
Soap: Wilkinson Stick
Aftershave: Lucky Tiger
Blade: Feather

Used Wilkinson stick for the first time. It was nice. Maybe not as good as Palmolive, La Toja and Speick... but a nice little product.

I’m not much of a synth knot guy, but I do reach for them from time to time. They sure whip up lather more efficiently/quicker.

The Silksmoke is one of the better ones, and I dig the looks. It’s a bit springy, but most synth knot are in my opinion.

I may actually part with the ATT SE1 soon. It’s a seriously great razor, but my name came up on the Wolfman list, so sacrifices must be made!

RolleyesNo, I must not look, keep moving, the SE rabbit hole has to have an exit somewhere. Don't look at the ATT, don't make eye contact, just keep going. It will find a good home. Keep walking.

Thanks for the write-up Paul.  As it happens, your comments about the Wilky stick are very right on time for me.  It must seem trivial, but it is appreciated out of proportion to what it must seem.

Anyway, good news about the Wolfman.  Happy2  Happy2  Which one are you getting?
