I was one that was having problems lathering Stirling in the beginning, but after watching some videos that Rod has linked on his website, I now get some amazing lathers and performance by Stirling.
My problem was that I was loading too little soap.
And I agree that Stirling definitely bats up there with the best of them. And that's not even considering prices! I'm trying to reduce my rotation as much as possible, but Stirling products will always be in my den!
Rod, it will definitely be nice to see you guys have a greater youtube presence. It'll only grow your business. Still waiting on a tour of your newly expanded facility Smile

I couldn’t agree more about the quality of Stirling products, and not just the shave soaps, which are great.  I am a big fan of both their bath soaps and shampoo bars.  ezlovan do you do a shampoo bar with a built in conditioner?  If not, have you considered it.  I shampoo my hair daily but use a conditioner once a week and it would be great to get one from Stirling. Smile

I really hope the deodorant works well for you.

I have been using Eucalyptus-Mint in the last few days and I think it's great. The scent is very long lasting, I can still feel it in the evening. I cannot say anything about how well it works in eliminating body odor because I seldom have that problem, in fact it is the first deodorant I use in several years. Since we (the whole family) have already been using Stirling shave soap, shave brush, aftershave, body lotion, body butter, lip balm, hands balm, body soap, I thought we had to try the deodorant as well Big Grin.

By the way, I had always had very dry skin (and other recurring problems). That was until I started using your bath soap made with mutton tallow. Thank you! It's fantastic.

One thing, if I may, regarding the shampoo. I purchased one (rosemary-mint) and I have been using daily it for the last 3-4 weeks. I have to say that my hair looks a little "tired", "heavy". My only benchmark is another brand's shampoo bar that I have been using for more than a year, and in that case I did not see the same result. I hope you don't mind me saying that. Being a relatively new product I thought that any feedback could be useful. Of course it can be just me, I know that results may vary from person to person.

Try rinsing your hair with diluted apple cider vinegar every few days. Works wonders to get rid of that feeling.

Thanks for suggesting it. I understand that PH levels are a factor but I prefer to keep things plain and simple.

Thank you for the compliment. I mean that.

I think your base is top shelf. More importantly, I think the market as a whole considers it top shelf. There isn't a soap on the market that doesn't have detractors. Shaving soap quality isn't something that can be easily measured, thus opinions go all over the place. An influencer can give a product a tepid review, whether or not it is deserved. All of a sudden, that becomes fact to a lot of people.

As well, you can't control how folks use the product. Putting up a video of how to lather was a great idea. Even with experienced shavers, you can't control what kind of water they have. You can't control if they are in a hurry the day the try your soap and haven't done proper pre-shave prep. Coming back to newer shavers, you can't control their technique. It may be that they are pressing too hard. They start feeling burn on the second pass and think it is the soap rather than technique.

I'm getting long winded. My overall point is that you can't win with everyone, though you are winning with an awful, awful lot of people.

I will do my best to get a video tour of the shop with the expansion done this weekend. It's been on my to do list for ages.

I don't yet, but it is on the list for development.
