Dave are you going to do a couple of videos with those razors, I was kind of waiting for those?
Not sure, I was waiting for your video and never saw it. Rolleyes Big Grin We'll see if I'm brave enough and you can handle the blood flow.

If I tried to make a video I would probably end up shaving with the camera and trying to take my video with the razor what a mess.haha

I bet you'd do fine. Most people sell themselves short. Glad you had a chuckle.

Razor: Stirling 316 SS Hyper Aggressive Head
Blade: Wizamet (4)
Brush: Wolf Whisker Black Wolf
Soap: Zingari Man The Blacksmith
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Dragonsbeard Skin Food Splash
Talc: Vintage Mennen
Fragrance: BVLGARI Man in Black Essence

I'm an idiot that will accept most any dare as long as it doesn't go against my Bible based life principles even if danger is involved. I had myself worked up for this shave as I was reading and watching the reviews on the new Stirling HA, Hyper Aggressive razor head. My fears were unfounded. Is it aggressive? Ummmm YEAH, just look at that blade exposure in this crummy picture I couldn't get to focus.
But I just took it slower than usual and had no problems sans a little stall grab on my chin area that sealed quickly. This is NOT an everyday driver but a fun experience to have had. Definitely more blade feel than my preference but with good technique, a smooth and comfortable shave can be had. If not attentive it will no doubt make you pay for the lack of respect shown it. I'm glad to try this even though not the one for me. Yep, after 1 shave I know it isn't for me but I knew that before it ever arrived. I would be more suited for the Standard from everything I've read already, but how can you not give it a try. It's a beauty for my eyes to behold and I'm VERY appreciative for Rod ezlovan for providing it for a test spin. It will be sanitized, cleaned and set aside to go to the next in line. The Standard but still healthy gapped razor is up for tomorrow. Video is uploading now. Have a Stupid Fun Day DFS !!! Mine is starting that way Tongue

Just pasting this here for emphasis as it seems the razors were sent to the current pass around participant in a regular priority mail envelope rather than the specified priority mail flat rate padded bubble envelope.

“Also, as requested by Rod (ezlovan), please put the razors and cases in the provided box and ship the razors off to the next person in a priority mail flat rate padded envelope ONLY!!”

Come on guys, there is literally no excuse not to follow Rod’s shipping instructions. Even if your local post office doesn’t have the padded envelopes in stock, they will ship them to you completely free....

Following Rod’s simple and straightforward wishes is the (very cheap) price of admission for this pass around.

Thanks Dave in KY  I thought the video, early this morning, looked like a nice way to start the day with a super close shave.

Here's the most recent pass around list. As per the usual pass around rules, keep the razor for about a week and send it off to the next person in line. Once you're done with the razor, please share your feedback - whether good or bad - in this thread.

Also, as requested by Rod (ezlovan), please put the razors and cases in the provided box and ship the razors off to the next person in a priority mail flat rate padded envelope ONLY!!

**Please soak/spray the entire razor in alcohol or something similar before shipping it out and upon receiving it to reduce any virus risks!**

Razor: Stirling 316 SS Standard Head
Blade: Wizamet (1)
Brush: TSC Legacy
Soap: Tonsorial Williams
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Avon Island Lime
Talc: Vintage Mennen
Fragrance: Penhaligon's Bayolea

Back on the Island with Sam @woodpusher and a shout out to him in the video uploading as well as KJ and Fluffy. So that means it was the Tonsorial Williams soap 1508.5 continuing. It gave what was needed for the Stirling ST head razor to swipe off the suds and whiskers. I told the wife when the razors arrived and the eye stare started that this is a pass where I won't be buying them because they are purported to be too aggressive a razor for me........................whispering now so she doesn't hear "I like the ST head and will be watching for it perhaps when released" I got a fast shave in, I reopened the stall grab from yesterday as well as removed a pimple but actually I was very impressed with the smoothness even with the blade feel and the efficient shave had. Going to dial it in with a couple more shaves for sure but I can tell it will be on my radar when released if I can swing it having been out of work for 3 months now. Topped off with Humphrey's Maravilla 70, Avon Island Lime and Penhaligon's Bayolea. I think I preferred the handle I shaved with today on the ST head but can't remember which it is. I like the looks of both but slightly favoring this one and the grip/feel was more than adequate. ezlovan Rod and Mandy have a couple GREAT razors in the pipeline here for sure that will bridge a good gap (see what I did there) of razor enthusiasts. between the 2 head choices. Have a great day DFS !!!!

My wife did the post office run and I gave her verbal instructions on the padded envelope. The post office did not have padded envelopes so she made a judgement call. I hope everyone can forgive us. If anything was damaged we'll take care of it.
