It is with a heavy heart that I report that the razors have left me and are headed to LOOT . I had a lot of fun with these razors and feel very fortunate to have been “stuck” with them for so long! As I said before I am pretty new to wet shaving, so my learning curve was probably a lot steeper than others but I feel like I have figured out how use use these well. I tried several different blades with them: Feather, Astra, Personna, Voskhod, Gillette Platinum, Dorco, maybe some others I can’t think of now; and I found the Personna and the Astra to be the best for me.

I am very eagerly awaiting the release of these razors, the last I heard Rod said he was aiming for April to start selling them. I know they’ve been overloaded with the hand sanitizer release and especially with the new addition to they’re family (congratulations by the way!)

Maybe ezlovan can give us an update on what to expect!

Here's the most recent pass around list. As per the usual pass around rules, keep the razor for about a week and send it off to the next person in line. Once you're done with the razor, please share your feedback - whether good or bad - in this thread.

Also, as requested by Rod (ezlovan), please put the razors and cases in the provided box and ship the razors off to the next person in a priority mail flat rate padded envelope ONLY!!

I ran the Stirling HA plate this afternoon with the long necked handle. I'll dub it the Ann Coulter.

I'm not a daily shaver or even one that has a routine.  I shave when I want to and not before.  I use cold water and a very, very steep angle.  Having said that, I used a once used Feather, GD preshave, and Cutting Edge soap.  I had 4 days growth.  This razor is right up my alley.  It's got lots of blade feel and it cuts close, very close.  Blade feel is consistent from first pass to last.  It gives great audible feedback as well.  Light pressure and giving it a taut, smooth surface to navigate certainly helps.  It never really felt threatening but you wanna mind your manors with her.  Get frisky and Ann could certainly make you bleed.

I did have to turn on the hot water twice to clear lather from the channels.  Not something I'm accustomed to but not an issue either.  I hand no issue with the long neck on the handle.  Rather enjoyed it actually.  It's the right length to grab it toward the head and rest the base on my pinky for good control.

I really like the leather pouches they come in.  Smart move by Rod.  This would make a perfect travel razor set, for me.

I'll try it again over the weekend with a Personna blade.  It should knock a little of the edge off the blade feel and likely still cut just as close.  I'll get a 3rd shave in with the ST plate, which I bet I would prefer as a daily driver. I bet it smooths out a good bit too.

Good stuff ezlovan Rod.  One shave in but I believe you've got a really good razor here.  I hope you sell as many as you can make.  Thanks for making this set available for us to play with.  It is much appreciated.

Wow!!!

I did not receive it like that, nor did I send it like that. So definitely not me and not the person before me.
