My bottle arrived today. I am not a huge Creed fan but I love the Green Irish Tweed, it's their best scent by far for my nose, with Aventus in a distant second place. Stirling has produced a clone that is exceedingly close to GIT. It doesn't have anywhere near the longevity, being an AS splash, or the sillage--the vapor trail that you leave behind when you pass someone while scented up--but to my mind those are not drawbacks, this is for when you don't want to tell the world you're wearing GIT.

It's a wonderful olfactory replica.

I ordered sharp dressed man and Ozark Mountain a few months ago.

Sharp dressed man, the smell I liked-but the soap itself didn't match me well. Since the soap burned my face.

Ozark Mountain, I enjoyed the smell way better and did not have a reaction to.

I bought the Ozark mountain aftershave balm to and wow! The smell was noticeable and subtle and lasted almost the whole day.

Stirling soap aftershave balms have the best staying power I experienced.

I had a sensitivity to Sharp Dressed Man as well. Too bad, because the scent was nice.

I received some Sharp Dressed Man for Christmas. I cannot wait to get into it!

I haven't tried Sharp Dressed Man yet but will soon. I have Creed GIT balm so it will be nice to compare. The Creed stays with me for hours and I can't wear a fragrance when wearing it which is fine.

I have Executive Man splash with menthol and it burns my face every time unfortunately.

Update: I no longer experience any burning from Executive Man, and it's my favorite aftershave scent.

I've never tried any of the aftershaves, or smelled the original GIT cologne.  I did love Sharp Dressed Man after trying it.  This year, when I picked up a few more soaps to last through my yearly sabbatical, I went with all GIT scents.  Sharp Dressed Man is still my favorite.  I think it's the heavy Verbena.  Here are the ones I've tried, loosely ranked.
-Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
-Mama Bear's Dublin Tweed
-Catie's Bubbles Celtic Knot
-WSP Formula T Gaelic Tweed
-Soapy Bathman Irish Waterfall

I still need to try
-Ginger's Garden Green Irish Tweed Type
-Mystic Water Irish Traveller
-Queen Charlotte Green Irish Tweed Type

The others that I know of are outside of my price range.

I'll have to try Sharp Dressed Man - I've not smelled GIT but I hear a lot about it. It's a little steep price wise for me but I'd be willing to try a clone. i like most of the Stirling fragrances I've tried except Ozark which I find a little strong and to my nose a little too pinesol cleaner like. I've read lots of great reviews on it and I want to like it but.... I do like Stirling's Barbershop scent.

If interested in checking out Creed fragrances then go to Neiman Marcus if you have one in your area. They have display models of nearly every fragrance from Creed. If you want to save a lot of money and still get the real product (a lot of clones on the market for Creed), then go to http://essenza-nobile.de/. I've also heard FragranceNet.com is a safe place to buy Creed.

Thanks, I appreciate the information. All this talk of frauds is a problem. Its one thing getting a clone at clone prices or even a "tribute" but if you're paying close to full price you want to make sure you get the genuine article.
