Thanks again, Chris for such a cool PIF.
You guys will be fine. Take it slow, be smooth and steady, and start with small patches. If you haven't ever used a straight, start where it's easy...do just your cheeks for a couple shaves, then move on to more technically difficult areas.
Nobody gets BBS their first go. Patience is the biggest and most important thing needed for learning. Go slow, don't chase the BBS, and just enjoy the learning process!
Don't be afraid to mix it up with a safety razor, too. A couple of strokes with a straight is a good start. Don't push it, because you can hurt yourself if you aren;t careful...

lance3114 Your razor is boxed up and ready to go, but it is sitting on my counter at home. I forgot to grab it on my way out the door this morning, so it will go in the mail to you tomorrow. It is clean, sharp, and stropped, so you are all set!
Austinoire , per our discussion, I will be starting your new scales this evening when I get home from work. I'll try to take a few photos of the process so you can enjoy it as much as I do, and then your razor will go in the mail next week.
