I had a great time talking to everyone. Great pictures as well! I'm in the same boat of wishing I had taken more (by more, I mean any pictures) but, I have great memories of it anyway. Thanks again for all the fun, hope we can make it a yearly thing!

Welcome Jared. I don't know if I got a chance to really talk to you, but I remember seeing you there. Enjoy DFS. It's a great community.

Dude! I was just thinking the other day that I need to start carrying around a hanky/bandana, because it would look way classier than searching down paper towels and ordered some, ahaha

One of us....one of us!!!!

I started carrying one several years ago. It's a bit embarrassing when someone notices, but far less so than sweat dripping everywhere. Lol.

Honestly, guys, I usually do not sweat heavily but on Monday, by the time I got back to my hotel, there was a large sweat circle right in the middle of my shirt.  I still can't get over everyone at the meet-up telling me that it gets worse during the height of the summer! ConfusedI don't want to know. Winking

You know how in a sauna you can literally feel the clouds of moisture in the air, which is so thick that it feels almost like being waterboarded when you breathe it?

That's why I don't get saunas except that I love the smell of cedar wood in them. Other than that, it just feels like summer to me.

Hey guys, over on the STL facebook page, my little wifie tells me someone posted about picking up the Bath House Nutmeg and Fig shave soap from the trade table. Since I dont do much facebook, could you check it out for me? (and direct him to me?) If that person is a member here, he can contact me so I can give him my feedback on it, as it was I that left it on the table for somebody else to enjoy.

Just trading notes on soaps.....

Happened on this and had to comment — when it's -20° F outside, a sauna can be a truly lovely place. Smile

(Disclaimer: I was practically born in one, so that may skew my opinion.)

A nice sauna session is never complete without the repeated ritual of combining an ice cold swim in between the heat. Happy

vtmax and wyze0ne, it appears as if both of you are in on the best rituals to combine with bathing in a sauna! Happy2 (I used to have long hair, and it actually froze into icicles when I dipped into a semi-frozen lake one winter. Back into the sauna I went…)

hawns, sorry for hijacking the thread! It seems the meet-up went well and good times were had. Hopefully there will be more of its kind in the future.
