It was fantastic getting to meet everyone there.  This was my first time in St. Louis and I went to meet a friend, go to the Gateway Arch and the Botanical Gardens, and, of course, the meet-up.  Honestly, if the meet-up was all that I did, it would have been worth the trip from San Diego in itself.  hawnsthank you so much for doing this and ezlovan, olschoolsteel, Red Tipped Cobra  and all the rest of you, it was great meeting and chatting with all of you.  The only downside is I hate checking bags when I fly.  Because of what I got at the meet-up, I shall have to check my bag when I go home on Tuesday. Nope. I am setting aside more stuff for the trade table now in preparation. Date circled. Now we just have to persuade hawns to do his magic all over again.

Andrew, it was amazing and it's a shame you could not have made it.  Shawn graciously offered an alcoholic beverage and the choice was beer, beer, or beer.  Not a bottle of red wine to be seen. Winking  Perfect setting (Tower Grove Park), perfect weather (which hawns will tell you I brought from San Diego Tongue), great people, fine conversation,  and a wonderful contingent from DFS.  As I said, amazing.

It truly was an amazing time and I had a real blast meeting all my DFS friends in real life! So cool and everyone was even more amazing (that word was for you, Freddy) than I could've imagined. It was also a bigger success than I ever imagined, in a large part due to all the wonderful people involved. We already started talking about what we can do with it next year to make it even bigger.

Definitely felt like hanging out with good friends talking about shaving and scents. I loved it.

Also, Freddy, who brings wine to a BBQ?! Okay, actually I'll take you up on it. I'll have to bring a dry, peppery Norton next year: http://www.missouriwinecountry.com/wines...?grapeID=8

FINE! We'll do it again.

After yesterday, I don't think we have any choice in the matter, really.

It sounds like you guys had a blast! I wish I had come but I can plan for next year if you do it at about the same time - I'm going to be spending the last part of May and first part of June next year rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon with my family and 25 friends then have to fly out east for my son's convocation ceremony and timing wise I'd be pretty close to St. Louis so I could actually economize Big Grin - save more money for shaving stuff.

Shawn, do you know if any of the Sudsy Soapery Delore de Treget soap was leftover from the meetup? It'd be nice to try it, any soap with a Chatillon Lux scent is soap worth having.Smile
