Saturday afternoon SOTD.
First time with the Blackland Sabre AND testing out a new soap formula. Razor is far milder than the Rocnel-G and the angle is easy to find. I wasn't trying to get a BBS but I nearly had one anyway. Very nice, only one weeper.

I'm not a smart man. I went into this shave thinking that it's going to be hot today but I wanted Ghost Town Barber and it's ok that the splash isn't menthol. I put it on and noticed the cooling, then looked at the label and saw the word "menthol". I was happily surprised and then embarrassed because I didn't realize it was in there the whole time. Nevermind the fact that I used it the other day and it just didn't dawn on me.

Pre-Shave: Castle Forbes.
Shave Soap: Dr. Jon's Flowers In The Dark.
Toning: Alum, Stirling Margaritas In The Arctic Witch Hazel.
Aftershave Splash: Dr. Jon's Flowers In The Dark.
EdT: Dr. Jon's Flowers In The Dark.
Final Touch: Ice cube half water half aloe vera juice.

Dr. Jon's performed well, but not to the standards of T+S, L&L, or B&M. Post shave feel was great but not outstanding.

Where it really got me was the scent. I think it just took #1 spot in my den in terms of scent. Absolutely amazing.

It is so sad that I can't find that soap on a large container. It seems to only come with the men's "clean up your act" kit. Which is totally cheap. But I really don't need all the shampoos and lotions.
