Stubble: 48 hrs
Pre: Hot water splash
Soap: Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge
Brush: Elite Razor
Bowl: CC Ceramic
Razor: SS WR2 1.65 w/WRH7
Blade: Wizamet SI (2)
Post: Ethos Lavender splash
Three passes: 2.5 passes
Results: Although I’ve been a daily shaver for months, I “prepared” for using the 1.65 by waiting an extra day after a one-pass shave using a Karve C plate. I was curious as to whether this razor would still be smooth. Well, today’s shave was the easiest most comfortable BBS I’ve experienced to date. It helped that the Wizamet was nice and sharp, but there’s no denying this is an amazing razor. It shaves very close, reminiscent the Blackbird, but it feels smooth like a Timeless 68. Yes, you have to treat it with respect, but it seems totally predictable and responsive. Excellent shave.
