I have to say, this is kind of an old-school day with some old standards that just work. Proraso soap, Lucky Tiger in place of plain witch hazel, and Clubman Special Reserve are just so awesome, they all do their thing so well. I've really enjoyed using the Proraso soaps because they smell good, go with anything, and lather so well. Lucky Tiger smells good and makes your skin feel great, and Special Reserve - what can I say? Love it or hate it its an icon - and I absolutely LOVE it.

I'm still in testing with the new Timeless Ti 0.95, and I think its in my top 3. Wonderful shave and easy BBS. I think its the smoothest ATG razor I have, almost magical. The Yates 921EH and TiBird are #2 and #3 for me at this point, but who knows, that will likely change, but its fun to rotate through various tools to find what works best. 

Anyhow, I finally got a good night's sleep last night and feel great today and this great shave topped it off. I have a mini spritzer bottle of Special Reserve in my pocket with me all day for when I need just a bit more!

Love this last-minute release by Macduff’s. The SV brush was nice out the gate and can whip up a dense lather.
