SOTD: Mergress//GSB//Duke 3 Best//Wholly Kaw Washington's Blend//Chattilon Lux La Quatrième Ville

I experimented with the Mergress on 5 and got bit a couple times. Still, Wholly Kaw have great shave with excellent post feel. The LQV sample was pretty good, a nice grassy scent.

The scent on Washingtons Blend is very subtle. I wish it were stronger really. I even "bloomed" the soap to try to let the scent loose to speak but didn't help much. It is still a really nice relaxed easy going scent. Hard to explain. Nothing really punches you in the face. Slightly grassy not in a green way but dried meadows, with just a hint of wild flowers, not strong at all... With a little black tea.

It finally dawned on me what it smells like, is Whole Foods Market. Around the dried herbs and teas and incense section.

Ha! To me, Barrister and Mann’s 42 smells like the front part of the local Whole Foods store, where the scent of fresh flower bouquets meets the scent of some of the other products that reside in the vicinity. Smile

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Very nice shave today. I recently moved, and am getting used to the hard water here. So far, B&M seems to handle it well. The Fine Italian Citrus came in the mail, yesterday, so of course I had to use it. Some of the Fine AS's I've used seem to clog my pores with essential oils, but this one is very nice and balanced. Blenheim Bouquet balm and EdT matched it pretty well. Looking forward to another close shave with the ATT SE1 tomorrow as well!
