I wasn't planning on shaving this weekend, but wound up being gifted another one of my wife's late grandfather's razors that her uncle found. Razor is a 1912 GEM. Gave it a good scrub and polish, and just couldn't resist. Tossed in a GEM PTFE blade and had a great shave!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and their "Sacré Bleu" shave soap. Wonderful classic Aqua Velva scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin "Chief" 2-band badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Aristocrat and I finished with Epsilon "Blue Mediterranean" aftershave splash.

Hope you have a great evening. Smile

Razor: DSCosmetic Ti S9 w/RR SS Barber Pole Handle
Blade: Personna Comfort Coated (1)
Soap: RazoRock Dead Sea
Brush: Stirling Finest Badger 24mm Fan
Bowl: Timeless
Post-Shave: RazoRock Dead Sea Splash and CeraVe lotion

Good shave, but after using synthetic brushes for several weeks, I forgot that my badger is a lather hog and fell well short of the perfect lather this evening. I ended up with a weeper and some neck irritation, but it was my own fault and I am at peace with my learning experience. This was my first time using the RR Barber Pole with the Ti S9 and it's a great combination, so there's that. No regrets.
