Ralph Lauren Safari shaving soap (tallow)
Carbon Mokume-gane Oda
Personna 74 Tungsten (9)
Ralph Lauren Safari aftershave (vintage)
Tepid water in the scuttle on this warm morning. The brush, although a lather hog, is still one of my favorites; it feels much like one of the vintage Somerset-era Simpson Manchurians. The Safari soap made excellent lather, and it has held its scent better than most other old soaps. In a competition for 'desert island' software, the Safari products definitely would be finalists. And there aren't many combinations that can equal the Carbon razor with a P74 blade.
