Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Saponificio Varesino and their excellent "Dolomiti" shave soap & ASL. Great scent and fantastic lather built with the Paladin " Chief" 2-Band select badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with the matching aftershave lotion and Czech & Speake "No.88" EdC.

Hope you have a great day. Smile

Shave of the Week Starting 10/07/2024

Razor.......Colonial CR7 Plate #3
Blade.......GSB
Brush......TRC
Soap.......Yardly
Balm......Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
A/S........Various

Last week I used the Colonial CR7 with Plates #1 and #2. Plate #1 was nice and comfortable but far too mild for me. Plate #2 was more efficient but still comfortable. This week will be Plate #3 chance. First shave with it shows it to be far more efficient but not quite as comfortable for me. Not that its bad, just not as mild/comfortable as Plates 1 and 2. I'll use it this week and then try to decide which plate is best for me. But my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
