HSOTD/SOTD 11/9/22

Shower: Dove Men+Care moisturizing bar soap
Razor: Rex Konsul (set to 3)
Blade: PermaSharp (day 4)
Preshave: PAA Cube 2.0
Soap: Hoffman's Burn the Ships
Bowl: Timeless
Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
Post Shave: CWR, Alum block, Thayer's
Balm: Neutrogena HydroBoost Gel
Aftershave: Hoffman's Burn the Ships

I clicked the Konsul up to 3 today, thinking it would be a better 2-pass shave with less buffing. Very true, that's what it was. Less nicks too. And this is on day 4 of the blade. So I consider that a success. I also tried putting the Neutrogena gel on before aftershave because I noticed that if I put AS on before the gel, the gel mostly covers it up. That also seems like a winner because the Burn the Ships scent is strong - every breath I get a good whiff! So I think I learned a few things today. Yay.

The Konsul continues to be one of my favorites and I keep reaching for it. It seems to be about as close to perfect as I would be able to imagine. I've been thinking of adding a Muramasa as well, but at this point I'm not sure the Muramasa would add anything over the Konsul.

No workout this morning - I stayed up too late watching election returns and felt like my body needed a rest today anyhow. That, and early meetings made it a rest day.

Thank you for reading, blessings to my shaving brothers, pray and pray some more, and keep looking up!

another comparison day and last day with the Gillete 7 O'Clock blades
tomorrow nacet and some more comparison
for the CC Cream I almost think I am doing better with it face lathering than bowl lathering so going to play with that a bit more

again both razors are so equal I do prefer the less blade feel while shaving and maybe the Timeless had a touch less post comfort today as it can take a bit more to clean up to get as close as the Wolfman (DUH statement of course given the gaps)

yeah this for sure is like having two super cars in the garage I think I am not going to find the better one only the one I decide on ?

still in the thoughts get the 95SB plate for the Timeless and maybe try the Wolfman .85 are still the plan
