Love, Laughter & Shaving
SOTN Monday, June 7
After an afternoon of shovelling free topsoil out of a small trailer:
prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk Original Formula bar soap
razor - Henson AL13 Mild
blade - Astra SP (6)
brush - Fendrihan Classic Pure Grey Badger
soap - Proraso Green croap
post - warm water rinse, Shavex alum block, cold water rinse
aftershave - an eye-watering splash of Jeris Osage Rub
music - none tonight
A 3-pass BBS.
Ya know, I used to say "friends don't let friends use Proraso Green croap", but now I'm getting used to it. I think I just wasn't using enough of it, and using the 1/4 teaspoon measure to scoop it out helped.
Last night I used a British Flare-Tip Rocket just for a break from the Henson. I always thought of the Rocket as being relatively mild, but after three days of the Henson it seemed rather rough. Thinking it might have been the condition of the blade, I went back to the Henson tonight, with the same blade.
Still much milder and more effective.

We could be Heroes, just for one day.
