SOTD 6-12 January 2019

8th shave on the Proline blade in my fabulous Paradigm SE razor. Smooth, efficient and close.  Two pass BBS shave.  I was in a hurry and still got a great shave....so smooth and irritation free.  My brush?  The Ever-Ready #750; a gift from my father when I was 14 more than 56 years ago.  I restored it and installed a Golden Nib Premium Badger knot in it.  My soap?  Stirling Piacenza; great lather, wonderful scent, and a slick as frogs hair - haha.  Finished off with Proraso aftershave.

This new Elite brush is fantastic, from the great ergonomics to the supple yet firm knot.  Despite the loft being a bit higher than I expected the performance was right on. It easily made and sustained the lather, distributing evenly for both passes with fantastic face feel. Of course the Amboyna burl is beautiful and unique.
