Great pic and great items for this shave. Gunslinger has an 'inspired by' fragrance based on Mancera Red Tobacco. Folks have said our version has less cinnamon than the original. The ones who commented liked that.

I did also enjoy the soap and perfume scents, and I was able to discern that they were not matched to a T, but folks that know me know that my nose is somewhat on the screwball side, so I won't try to elaborate.(08-07-2023, 04:52 AM)HighSpeed Wrote:

Oh, man. Let me tell you... Shaving with a replaceable blade straight razor is becoming quite an addicting experience. This being my second shave with this razor and blade, I'm finding out just how much I love this format.
The quality of shave I get from this combo is just insane. The blade is so sharp and effortlessly goes through my facial hair. It's just a joy to use. Sure safety razors will do the same if they're paired with a truly sharp blade but there's just something different about this format. Something a lot more fun. I'm telling you. When I say this smooth shaves, I mean Smooth!
Sure I may end up with more than a few weepers along the way but for the most part, they're really small. Besides, I'm a man so what's a tiny bit of blood in exchange for the sweetest bbs shaves I've ever had? I mean, I'm the type that uses alum after every shave and always prefers an alcohol aftershave over others.
As far as the soap goes Bon Monsieur is fantastic and I'm a fool for not yet having bought a full set. It's of the highest quality you'll find out there. Trust me. If you've ever experienced Zingari Man's Sego base then you know just how great it is. No joke. If you've never used Zingari Man before you have to do something about that asap. Just do it. You'll thank me.
I did essentially three passes and loved the result. I could feel the alum and aftershave pretty well but then that's when I bust out the Hydro Boost. This stuff works wonders for irritation and I highly recommend it.
All in all an awesome shave was had. Thanks for reading and enjoy yours.
Prepare for mind control!
