On Every Street album (with 'The Bug' song) released by Dire Straits on this date, 1991
Rooney 1/1 Faux Horn Finest (22/45)
Ethos Grooming Succès shaving soap
Haircut & Shave P075-SB Mixed Metal Black/Triad Aristocrat Brass
Wilkinson Sword 'New' (7)
Ethos Grooming Succès aftershave
Some of my favorite software from Ethos Grooming, smooth, rich, and tangy sweet. The soap is softer than the others from Frank, loading really easily and making wonderful dense lather.

SOTN Thursday, Sept. 9
prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk Original Formula bar soap
razor - QShave Futur clone @3
blade - Feather (10)
brush - Stirling 2-Band Synthetic
soap - Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk with Shea Butter bar soap
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - Italian Barber GIT
music - streaming "Moon Phase Radio" out of Hertford, England - nice ambient/drone tracks
Caprina as shaving lather is impressing me more and more. It may collapse sooner than proper shaving soap, but it is still one of the slickest lathers, even after many strokes of the razor over the same area. It's almost as good as, say, MWF or Tabac.
It got even better after I started storing it in an old TOBS tub so that it never dries out and it's beginning to be just a bit harder than a croap. I replenish it with end-of-the-bar slivers.
The QShave certainly sounded loud tonight, especially following the Henson AL13. What a racket it made!
