Beautiful Shave today with some of my favorite gear! Wholly Kaw Tallow with Donkey Milk is firmly in my top three Soaps, along with Grooming Dept and Barrister & Mann Reserve. Outstanding slickness and protection, and excellent post shave. This Soap is on par with the other elite Soaps out there and can hold a ton of water which I love. This is one of my very favorite scents by Wholly Kaw, although I really enjoy the other scents I’ve tried by them as well. I always get great shaves when I use the Tallow and Donkey Milk Soap base, and I’m hoping whollykaw adds this scent to the permanent lineup!

This morning shave was fantastic. The new base that was used with the Frosted Woodland EO/Absolute formula that I made actually mellowed out the Star Anise a bit and I like this batch a lot better than the original tub of Frosted Woodlands custom soap I had made up 1.5 years ago. Super Slick, creamy and post shave feel so good do not need a balm. Now I have to work on an Aftershave to match my soap.
