As I've said in some other posts, I like to rotate all my razors and that includes the multiblades. Today it was the Sensor's turn, considered by many (not myself) the best multiblade ever manufactured by Gillette. I think that honour corresponds to the Contour (Atra). A razor that I personally find more enjoyable and better made than her successors. But the Sensor is a fine razor nonetheless. I used a three blade cartridge from a Sensor disposable, and as I usually do with all cartridges equipped with that kind of stuff, I removed both the lubricating strip and the "fins" underneath the blades, which is what I only need. All other "attachments" are redundant and unnecessary to me. This was a very early morning shave so this razor was a sensible choice. Three passes and BBS, however, and as it usually happens with these "modern" razors, the shave is not as close, nor it lasts as much as it does with a DE razor. It also isn't anywhere close in terms of fun. It's just a bit quicker, definitely easier, and less risky if you happen to haven't still ingested the much necessary early morning caffeine dose.

Good soap, this Le Père Lucien, though I'm used to tallow soaps and the less dense lather of the vegan soaps is not so pleasing to me, but this is a soap I would recommend wholeheartedly. Very easy to lather, good glide and protection, nice medium strength scent. Final touch provided by Tüff lotion and Korres balm. It was a good way of starting my day.

- Gillette Sensor 3
- Semogue 1305 boar brush
- Le Père Lucien Cèdre-Patchouli soap
- Tüff lotion+Korres balm

Post: Vintage Avon Tai Winds aftershave.

What an amazing way to upgrade my day! After a LONG day of meetings and flights, this was a welcome reprieve. The Tai Winds is a more citrusy Brut and paired beautifully with Honor. All smooth and ready for the rest of the day.

Be smooth and shave it up, everyone!

Got home from 12 hour shift that ran even later! My face was full of sunscreen and dirt. A quick warm shower and face wash with L'Oréal men expert. The menthol helped with the sun burn. Yeah- it was 90 today here out in the desert.
