Still trying to find a good angle to take a nice photo of my shave gear, wasted like two to three hours today! Anyhow, let's get to SOTD and SOY (Shave of Yesterday)

SOY
Razor: Muhle R41 with Polsilve Super Iridium [2]
Brush: Edwin Jagger Synthetic STFv2.0 XL
Soap: Mike's Natural Soap Orange Cederwood and Black Pepper
Going back to one of my first artisan and still one of my favourite soap. I really need to get more soaps from Mike's sad that I missed the Maggard's stock few months back... There's not a lot to say about Mike's since a lot of people probably have experience with it, a good one that is. But if you have not, to me it create one of the slickest and thickest lather, though it is slightly tougher to lather up as compared to other artisan (That said, it is not that tough, just slightly tougher).
Again with my favourite Brush and Razor setup since I do not have many options, though I foresee myself going to try expensive razor and a high end badger before 2017 ends.
Wonderful shave. Just two tiny nicks.

Razor: Muhle R41 with Polsilve Super Iridium [3]
Brush: Edwin Jagger Synthetic STFv2.0 XL
Soap: /Chatillon Lux Collaboration Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli
One of my favourite new artisan, I am still awaiting news from Ryan @ Tallow + Steel about the new product in 2017. I am seriously considering getting the last soap from them, which is the Classic, but the scent profile isn't really up my alley despite is being a wonderful performer. Other than that my order of preference will be Grog, Dark and Rainforest. Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli is a limited edition so I did not add it to the list, but I will be honest, when I first open the tub of YRP, I didn't like it, I find the rose scent to be too aggressive for me. But as time goes, the rose does mellow it down a little and when you add water to the soap, the scent profile really opens up, I really hate myself for not getting another one when I have the chance.
Another wonderful shave.
