Tabacstag!
Just had the usual optimal shave again with Tabac. The Bronze Shadow made amazing lather and der Futur comfortably removed my stubble without drama. Tabac aftershave is underrated, leaving my face soft and smooth and smelling great.

Morning amigo. How does your Cobra Classic compare to the AlumiGoose?

Prep: Lots of hot water to the face and a smearing of Prep preshave
Razor: 1940s Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Personna Super (3)
Brush: Maggard Razors 24mm Purple Swirl
Lather: Black Ship Grooming Captain Scurvy (thanks for the sale, NickMach007!)
Post: Lucky Tiger then CFG Cinnawood Boroka
Yeesh, three shaves is the max for me and this Personna blade. I was under the impression this blade is an Israeli Red. I happened to dig up a new Israeli Red tonight and discovered the blade in my Super Speed is absolutely not an IR. It's also not a Crystal/Q-Ball, which I refer to as Israeli Super+ Platinum (as that's what written on the blade itself). The blade I have comes in a solid white wrapper and Personna Super is printed on the blade. I don't have the original dispenser, if it came with one.
I think I may have an allergy to sandalwood. This soap tingled the living crap out of my lips and my wife asked me if I was wearing lipstick when I was done with the shave. Another soap that does this, but not as severely, is Reef Point Soaps Admiralty. I compared both and the common ingredient is sandalwood. Now I just need to see if I have other soaps with sandalwood in the den and take them for a spin. I don't think I have any...
However, Captain Scurvy made superb lather that shaved real well. So if I need to sell this soap, all is not lost. I can pick up another BSG soap on the buy, sell, trade.
