Tepid Water Splash
Vintage Williams Mug Shave Soap
Simpsons Tulip 3 in Two Band
Genco Master Barber 9/16ths Spike Point
Scrupleworks Veggie Tanned Horse .. 30/50
Bloc Osma .. as a proof
Witch Hazel
Penhaligon's English Fern EdT

Two items today worthy of note..

The Genco had a very nice coticule edge on it. I proceeded to give it fifteen very light laps on the Gokumyo 20K, and I got a more harsh shave than I'm used to... Not terribly harsh, but I had a few weepers. I will have to try a full synthetic progression as I feel my way along..
Today is my Granddaughter's 8th Birthday. She can be a handful at times, but she is the light of my life!

Have a great week, gents!

Razor: Ever-Ready SE 1914
Blade: Gem Blue Star (1)
Brush: El Druida Mopane 2 Band Badger
Soap: Route 66 Lavender Woods
Aftershave: Afta Skin Conditioner

A little about the Mopane handle.
Colophospermum mopane, commonly called mopane, mophane, mopani, balsam tree, butterfly tree, and turpentine tree. It is a tree that grows in hot, dry, low-lying areas, 200 to 1,150 metres (600 to 3,770ft) in elevation, in the northern parts of South Africa. The tree only occurs in Africa and is the only species in genus Colophospermum. It's distinctive butterfly-shaped leaf and thin seed pod make it easy to identify.
A very good shave tonight. Need to work on around the nose hole openings, but other than that a DFS.

Stirling Soap Co. 24mm Finest Shaving Brush
Mike's Natural Soaps Bay Rum Shaving Soap
St. Charles Shave Bay Rum With a Twist Aftershave Milk

So, I believe this razor was NOS.  I picked it up on eBay and it didn't have any evidence of use.  It had a blade loaded and one missing from the blade dispenser.  I'm not sure what the date of manufacture is on this razor, as I can't seem to find much by way of history on this one.  I ended up with a very close 3 pass shave and might carry on with this one for a few shaves to get used to it a little better.  I am using a modern GEM PTFE stainless blade for my shaves.
