prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk Original Formula bar soap

soap - Nivea Men Moisturizing Shave Cream
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - Italian Barber GIT

I do not understand how it works. In the middle of my first pass I noticed a weeper. I don't remember that anything happened (pain-wise) until I saw a bit of blood. Okay, fixed it with styptic pencil.
In the second pass I was going up from my jaw to sideburn. On the way I had a collision with my earlobe. Ouch. I though I was going to end up like van Gogh. Upon closer inspection, there's no sign of blood or injury.

BBS otherwise.

I did not like the GIT aftershave at first, but now I do.
It reminds me of a hay barn, in a good way.

Another shave with the H&S Mixed Metal head. I get a great shave but need to work for it which gets me where I want but adds a little irritation. Maybe it's the blade losing it's sharpness. I'll need to try a fresh blade in this and then go back to the Yates to compare. I have an H&S Handle coming for it now. Have a great day DFS !!
