Great shave this morning. Returned to my vintage Shulton "Old Spice" shave soap, ASL & cologne. Great old school scent with incredible lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 1 Manchurian badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Fatboy.

Sometime I don't understand why I am still looking for a new razor when my Merkur 23C makes such a good job ...

How is the scent of this new Macduffs ?

My description - it’s green and fresh - not a single note stands out but it’s well rounded.
