A very good shave tonight. This soap is not on my buy again list. There is nothing wrong with it, I just have other soaps I like more. The Timeless TRH2 is an excellent handle which is very easy to hold even with wet hands. It is a very good weight at 94 grams. I love how it looks also. If your looking for a good handle I would suggest you take a good look at the Timeless TRH2.

My skin is feeling much better already, thankfully.

This Vie Long is a nice brush. The handle has nice weight to it and even though it's a silvertip knot, it seems to be extra stuffed with a short loft, so it isn't floppy at all. It makes for a good face lathering brush. I'm sure it would hold its own bowl lathering, too, but I face lather ~99% of the time these days.

Had a little "Throwback Thursday" shave tonight. I haven't used VDH soap in quite a while, but I always did enjoy this super lather combination. The combined scent is fantastic!

SOAP: The Copper Hat - lumber jack. Wonderful. It surprised me.
BOWL: Yoresh Electric.
RAZOR: GEM Featherweight
BLADE: Personna GEM Blue Star. 2nd shave. Sharp and oh so smooth.
PASSES: 3 + Minor touch up.
SHAVE: Superb ++
AFTER SHAVE: Very old Old Spice. It must have fermented. It still brings tears to my eyes.

This has been an extraordinary shave for me. Superb performance from every component.
