Razor: AlumiGoose w/Hempel Ti

Blade: Feather Professional (5)

Brush: WDC-8 Brass Handle, Druida Manchurian.

Soap: Route 66 Twisted Tweed

Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Shambala

Another excellent 3 passes and a touch up with this combination of equipment. Twisted tweed is Route 66's twist on the classic, unforgettable Green Irish Tweed fragrance. This crisp, fresh, sporty fougere opens with green citrus, bergamot, wild lavender and lemony verbena over a rich heart of geranium, fern and violet. Anchored with spicy, wood accords of cedar, musk, amber, frankincense and Mysore sandalwood. This soap is long lasting, slick lather, protective cushion and glide with a soothing post shave conditioning. Great product!!!

SEGAL One Piece TTO / Modified Personna Red (Shave 1)
Thayers Superhazel with Proraso Green Pre/post followed with Proraso/Osage Rub splash

Beaudelarie arrived today. Good stuff, Great Shave!!!

As for modifying Blades for the SEGAL's. It is not too difficult, I practiced on a few used blades first. Then once I got the hang of it I cut at least a full tuck of blades(Personna Reds as they work best in all razors for me). I also cut a blade of a few other brands so I could test them out in the razor. Some Blades are harder to modify/cut than others, so if you have trouble try a different brand, Personna's are not too bad at all. I Modified these a while ago and used a really good pair of new scissors(Like the ones with the Orange handles) they ended up being put in the garage practically when I got them home from the store. Just be careful however you do it.....

Chatillon Lux Colbeck

I'm glad you are enjoying Mike's, Kevin! I enjoy many wonderful shaving soaps, but I know Mike's will always have a place in my rotation. The performance is excellent and most of the scents are very enjoyable to me. I may have a "couple" of Mike's Soaps around here. Wink

Now it's time for me to thank you, kwsher! I bought Chatillon Lux Colbeck on your suggestion. I didn't need too much prodding, because I already have several of hawns offerings and know they are top notch. Colbeck, though, just blows me away! I think it's just great! Now I'm wishing I would have followed kwsher lead and purchased two bottles. Rolleyes
