I'm still trying to see if this brush will break-in some. I was hoping for something more like my Vintage Blades 2-Band Finest, but so far this RazoRock 24mm Finest has a little bit of scritch. Not terrible, but the VB has all of the backbone and soft tips(no scritch that I can sense.) I still like the RazoRock, but we'll see how it goes. (I REALLY need to quit buying stuff and just enjoy!) But, I might have to bite the bullet and buy a Shavemac.

Super Sunday Shave

I went with a favorite combination today - Lavanille and Lavanille, and it did not disappoint. I put three pumps of Van Yulay PSO in my wet hands and massaged it into my warm wet face for a few seconds. Then I let it sit there while I brushed my teeth, to give it time to work. My Brothers Bristles Bimetal Brush easily coaxed Lavanille into providing thick yogurty lather. Der Futur went about its business with cool efficiency, smoothly reducing my stubble over three passes on setting five. I did get one weeper from carelessness, but it closed quickly during the cold water rinse. Lavanille Tonique finished this shave up right. This one has some staying power and I can enjoy the scent while not projecting it to a whole room.
