This base is superb in every way possible. The scent at first off the puck was to “clean” smelling. But it toned down to a kind of citrus vibe.

Absolutely overwhelmed with startup activities. But it is still a wonderful privelege and indulgence to sample razors across past eras. And I realize I am just a novice in this domain compared to many here. I want to get a few more shaves in for deeper analysis but there is no question this razor can deliver BBS. I did have a few rougher spots where I pushed the envelope on angles, and it felt as if I might have been engaging the second blade of the shim. 12 hours later I am feeling a bit of regrowth in a few areas but glassy smooth in others.
