OneBlade Razor
GEM PTFE
Eufros Brisa de Oriente
Simpson Chubby 3 Manchurian Striped Ivory

Thanks to a gracious member here who gave me a despined GEM blade, I was finally able to try this combination. (I have 100 of these blades in the den, just been hesitant to despine them: Visions of a Sam Peckinpah movie kept coming to mind).

The blade fit in well, and it definitely gives a different sensation to the shave than the Feather FHS: The blade felt more 'solid', 'thick', 'sturdy'. Perhaps that's why Brian SharpSpine finds they have such longevity.

Absolutely Michael P! The GEM, simply put, is robust. This is why I even prefer it to all of the artist club blades these days.
