I have enjoyed the scent ever since I got the soap, but it seems to be even more pleasing after these consecutive uses. Somehow I feel that although Michelle makes soaps with a wide variety of scents, the ones I have tried (about a dozen) seem to have some underlying aroma that ties them all together and lets me know that this is Mystic Water I’m using.
Though I have never had any issues lathering MWS even with hard water (except when using a boar brush that wasn’t fully broken in), I decided to make today’s shave extra special, and used distilled water to build the lather. All I can say is it was worth it! I had an extremely pleasant shave. Everything just came together in the best possible way.
Congratulations, Mattew and this is also one of my favourite scents!
Thanks, Celestino! Although I haven’t tried a single Mystic Water yet that I didn’t like, Vetiver & Oakmoss is truly a nice one.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Thank you, sir! Yes.
Oh wonderful. It's beautiful, and I've got one in that color on order-I don't expect it for a while, but seeing your brush, it looks like it will be worth the wait. Thanks!

Thanks to a gracious member here who gave me a despined GEM blade, I was finally able to try this combination. (I have 100 of these blades in the den, just been hesitant to despine them: Visions of a Sam Peckinpah movie kept coming to mind).
The blade fit in well, and it definitely gives a different sensation to the shave than the Feather FHS: The blade felt more 'solid', 'thick', 'sturdy'. Perhaps that's why Brian SharpSpine finds they have such longevity.
