Something not quite right for me and Sapone Di Paolo soap. Not a great shave, dragged, scraped and although I can't argue with the result the shave was a bit rough.

Rosacea has flared up for me once again.  It can make my skin sensitive and easily irritated.  While I do use some prescription meds for this problem, the irritation sometimes caused on certain patches of my face after shaving seems to be somewhat relieved using just plain old raw unrefined shea butter.  The relief for me is immediate and seems to help accelerate the recovery of the affected areas of my face.  I'm not a doctor and have never played one on TV.  I'm just sharing my experience with the idea that it might help someone else with similar issues.  

A little goes a long way and shea butter is a fairly cheap thing to try for just about any kind of skin irritation, including that occasional rough shave when things just don't seem to work out for whatever reason.  Thanks to celestino and others who have shared this tip early on in my traditional wet shaving adventure!
