Man, I don't get to look through this thread as much as I used to. Such a bummer, as there are so many great pictures by some gifted photographers.

Wanted a polished brass ‘bird and managed to get the long handle and an OC plate during Shane’s recent “end of brass” sale.  Unfortunately, the bass top caps were sold out.  So, I bought a new polished SS cap.  Works great, and looks great too.
