This was accidentally posted in the previous week's SOTD thread. I deleted that post and reposted here, correctly this time. Sorry!

Prep: Lots of hot water to the face and a smearing of Prep preshave
Razor: 1940s Super Speed
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (5)
Brush: Maggard Razors 24mm Purple Swirl
Lather: Dr. Jon's 1803
Post: Lucky Tiger then Agua Lavanda Puig

Wow, this blade keeps marching along just fine. It's rare I get five shaves out of any blade. The MR 24mm Purple continues to impress and the 1803 provided a lovely scent, if a bit subdued, for the entire shave. The only thing that puzzles me about 1803 is the oils I see in the tin. I keep meaning to email Dr. Jon's about it, but always forget. It really was such an excellent shave---not a weeper to be found.

A great shave to start of the morning.  This Gillette DeLuxe OC is my favorite vintage razor and consistently provides smooth efficient shaves.  This morning was no exception with 3 passes followed by minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS.  Finished the shave off with a splash of Fine Platinum.  Going to take a motorcycle ride this morning in the North Ga mountains with my best friend Wade.  It will be nice to escape some of the Atlanta heat.  I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Just another terrific Tabac shave - it just never fails. The Futur glided effortlessly through the yogurty goodness built by my HIS Lather Monster. The aftershave barely stung at all and my face feels great.
Prep: Kiehl's Calendula Face Wash
Soap: Tabac!
Brush: HIS
Razor: Futur
Blade: Voskhod
AS: Tabac!
