Shave 22 on the Personna 74 on still going strong. Every time I use this soap I wonder why I use anything else. I might not be a millionaire but for 20 minutes I felt like one.

The question has been asked many times, and I could answer it many ways. Right now, Lavanille is my favorite scent, so I could easily use this set up everyday. This shave was just superb in every way. SMS adds slickness and skin care pre shave, and my HIS XL really is a lather monster, whipping up yogurty goodness 28mm at a time. Der Futur has conquered my RAD with its combination of heft and efficiency giving me BBS sans drama most of the time. I've said before that Lavanille is a masterpiece and I stand by that assessment, enveloped in its complex lavender and de saxe-y delight.

Razor: B-1 Red Tip
Blade: Voskhod (3)
Brush: Rubberset 400-4 Silvertip
Lather: Strop Shoppe Baker Street
Shave: hot water shave; face lathering; 3 passes - WTG, XTG, ATG
Post: alum, L'Occitane Cade balm

Champion The Wonder Muhle

Pre: Zirh pre-shave oil
Soap: Speick stick (grated into a tub)
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements
Brush: Muhle 23mm Kosmo synthetic
Razor: Schick Injector Dial Adj @7
Blade: Schick Injector Twin (6)
After: WH, Speick Active AS, Coral Skin Food

Last day of using this Speick soap for a whole week (usually I change my soap every day). Great soap and a bargain if you're ever in Germany.
Same soap but a different brush each day; boar, synthetic, badger, horse, boar badger mix. Until today the horsehair brush was the leader but this morning my soft-but-firm, dense-but-airy, Muhle STF brush's qualities champion the wonder horse.

Frosty Ferox Friday
Barrister & Mannuary is yielding one great shave after another, and today was no exception. Everything worked as expected from luxurious pre shave and lather through three smooth passes to the wonderfully cold Frostbite aftershave.
