Love is very dense with very nice scrub, maybe 27x50 many backbone, also have 27x55 and Backbone is more reasonable.

regale me with tales of that brush. how do you like it? i've been tempted by them SO many times...

Me too @uncle_dubya - when G&C released the garnet I had to bite. Very happy I did. This one is the 2-band; similar to the Shavemac D01. Plenty of backbone, even at the higher loft and by far the densest brush I own. CRAZY dense- great to use, eats soap like the cookie monster, but I believe one of the great brush values out there right now.

Blade: Voskhod (2)
Brush: Rubberset 400-4 Silvertip Badger
Lather: Tabac
Shave: Hot shave; Face Lathered; 3 passes; WTG, XTG, ATG
Post: Alum, Nivea Sensitive Balm with menthol crystals, Stetson Cooling Moisture

I've dialed in the Red Tip I believe, another DFS+ with the Voskhod. Good hit of menthol at the end with the Nivea and Stetson.
