Chiseled Face Sherlock Splash
I was inspired by a thread on another forum and manned up for Midnight Stag. Off the sample it's straight up leather but lathering up it mellows out a bit. It's actually quite nice. I thought the Sherlock splash would do well to tame it a bit but in hindsight maybe Ghost Town Barber would have been a better match.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Ylangsday
Outstanding shave today with Clarity and Ylang-Zu balm. They are not a direct scent match, but they do compliment each other, as they share a Ylang-ylang note. The lather was thick and slick, and the Rockwell blade continued to be smooth and comfortable in the 6s. The balm is liquid enough to go on easy and absorbs quickly without using much or feeling greasy.
