Wow, just fantastic. I can feel the trade winds. Also, I never saw a Semogue with a handle like that. What is its story?

Needed a quick shave before choir practice.  Also needed to break in a fresh blade on a three day beard:

Razor:  Pearl "The Sleek"  (Ver. 1 modified)
Blade:  SilverMax (Euromax branded for the Indian market)
Soap:  Efros Atlantico
Brush: Omega black badger
A/S:    Spearhead Shaving Seaforth! Fleur de France

When breaking in a new blade, I always do my first pass ATG, then XTG and finally WTG.  Thereafter, I never get a weeper with that blade.  Probably not really needed with this blade but an imperative with a fresh Feather blade. The soap is interesting. It has a nice floral scent without being acrid. It is very, very soft so easy to load with a badger. The tub is wide enough so that if you are light in the hand, you can build the lather in the tub without continuously loading the brush and then complete the lathering on your face thus avoiding the need to use a lather bowl. Something to consider if you are in a hurry. A nice shave but not quite as good as a SR shave with Cella and a boar brush.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and their excellent Aqua Velva homage, "Sacré Bleu" shave soap. Great scent and fantastic lather built with the Wild West Brushworks "Samurai" Sweet Spot badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with Williams "Aqua Velva" after shave splash and Mont Blanc "Presence" EdT.

Hope you have a great day. Smile
