Is that the original knot in the 100T?  I've got a TGN Finest in mine and I love it.  If you don't already have someone in mind to do your restore, I can recommend someone. (Or maybe you do it yourself?)

Nice pic and excellent scent, that Sweeney Todd!

Thanks 120inna55. I have a TGN Finest knot I believe. I also think it is the original knot in the 100T. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

What is a Birth razor????
Surely The Marines don't ............naw!

Mickey

Big Grin To me a birth razor is a razor that was manufactured in the year of your birth. I'm near Ottawa.

So how did a leatherneck end up near Ottawa?

Short story. Born in Waterbury Conn. of Canadian parents. Came back to Canada when I was 3 months old. When the draft dodgers came to Canada to avoid going to Vietnam I joined the Marines in Buffalo NY. Volunteered for the grunts, volunteered for Vietnam.

Well Doug, from a former Navy Corpsman, two Corp slogans immediately come to mind: "The Few. The Proud, The Marines." and "Uncommon Valor" after reading your comments. Thank you for your service Marine.

You can take a Yankee out of Connecticut, but you can't take the Connecticut out of the Yankee. Wink

Just a quick update. I am back east, in the Buffalo, New York area, visiting a friend. When here, it is a 5-blade wonder and canned goo and, boy, do I miss my regular shaves. Neither the razor nor the canned gel offers anywhere near the comfort of the setups most of us use. I also find that a post shave balm is more important with the Fusion and gel than with any DE, SE, or Injector that I use with some of my favorite blades and soaps.

Revisited my first DE shave.
Old spice original soap
Feather popular w/feather blade (1)
Homemade synthetic brush
Old spice Aftershave.
Can only say one thing that Feather Feather combo was super smooth.[Image: 18179dbdf7a6957daa466d7217623174.jpg]
