Also the old spice boar brush even being 40 years old is a wonderful knot.

I really love that brush handle I think I'm going to spring for paa Crown King Switchback 400 I'd try for an original rubberset but they're very expensive and to find one in perfect condition probably will be impossible

This is not the Switchback. This is a BSB-Titanium. A very different beast from the the Switchback. I considered a vintage Rubberset, too. However, I decided instead of dumping money in a restore (that would require some work to maintain with the aluminum finish of the vintage RS) that I would put those funds into the titanium BSB which I can keep looking flawless with just a wipe of a cloth. I also like the weight of the BSB. Juan is nice to deal with, too. Here's where you can find his brushes: http://www.bsbshavingbrushes.com/

Nice brush I wonder how much?. The crown king comes with 2 synthetic knots for $49.00. Plus you can by a blank and put any knot you like in it. Chrome finish which should be just fine. I'm sure the BSB is over $100
