I think tabac Tuesday is synonymous with time travel Tuesday because the scents of this shave really takes you back. Great experience. Great way to start the day.

Not a bad shave, just not great. The Marvy SS pretty much disappeared quickly but did leave a nice slickness on my face so things went ok. Going to try a different brush tomorrow and see if that helps.

So this shave made me cry a little. I must've applied the splash a little too close to my eyes causing a couple tears to weep out. The shave was sublime despite the tears. Perhaps they were tears of joy.

Smooth blade, that. The Personna Super Stainless are good, but the Diane is a cut above ... excuse the pun. Platinum coated, ice tempered and so on, smooth.

Fun to celebrate the anniversary of the vintage Weck with a proper modern treated blade.
