SOTN Thursday - Minty!
prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk with Shea Butter bar soap
razor - '20s Gillette Single-Ring Old
blade - Feather (4)
brush - Omega 10086 Travel Boar
soap - Anthony's Shave Cream (3 ml sample)
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - Jeris Osage Rub
music - streaming Gem Radio New Wave
The Anthony's is strange stuff. Meant for brushless or face lathering, it turned out thin but is some of the slickest cream I've ever seen. Which I like.
It smells strongly of peppermint. Not menthol, not eucalyptus (which is actually listed in the ingredients), but a candy-cane sort of peppermint. Almost like a gel toothpaste, but stronger.
I'm not sure that I'd buy a 6 fl oz (177 ml) tube for CDN$28.00 though. I prefer the experience of warm lather, and more of it.
I ended up with a gore-free BBS. The Feather is beginning to settle down.
To top it off, I thought I'd splash on some eye-watering Osage Rub. The scent and feel don't last much past ten minutes, but it's pretty intense while it lasts.
I have to make do with a Duncan Hines cake frosting lid.

We could be Heroes, just for one day.
