SOTD 25-31 December 2016

First shave with my brand New Eufros Kasbah. This soap belongs to Manuel's new Tallow formula. I had a read a lot of positive reviews on it, and I have to say that it has reached top scoring in all my benchmarks. It's so easy to lather, glide is superb and so is protection, and the scent... just imagine yourself in an Arab market, where the scent of black tea, flowers and spices is all around. That could be a description. Spicy, warm, sweet... all in all, an extremely elegant scent. If this has been Manuel's first attempt at tallow based soaps, I can predict big things coming from this artisan in the future.

Three pass shave. WTG and two XTG, for a BBS result. Final touchs with Speick and my favorite balm for cold weather, Bulldog.

I was very happy with the performance of the Voskhod blade for seven shaves. I been a great month with some excellent shaves. Thanks to my Secret Santa for some excellent products and tools.
My next months focus will be on Route 66 Shave soaps and using a different shave brush each day. This way I will use brushes I tend to neglect.
I'm off to a grandsons hockey tournament tomorrow and will return Sunday.
